BODY AFTER DELIVERY & SOCIAL PRESSURE

I know, I truly know...looking at your body after delivery and comparing yourself with »wonder women« profiles aka. celebrities might leave you feeling like you lost it all.

It seems like they jumped from the labor bed straight to a treadmill...and they are probably the reason you set the bar high for yourself.

However

IS THIS SAFE?

No!

REALISTIC?

Let's face it. Celebrities lifestyles are much different from ours.

Firstly, they generally don't gain as much weight during their pregnancy as the average woman does.

Second, they have resources (personal trainers, chefs, nannies,...)

Last but not least, many of them do crazy diets. (which you won't do, because you're acknowledging yourself on this blog, right???..:)

HEALTHY?

Slimming down after pregnancy with such speed IS NOT RECOMMENDED!

Especially if you are breastfeeding or had a C-section, the worst thing you can do is to try too hard, too much, too soon! Not only that you're likely to find yourself exhausted and discouraged in the end, but you might also do more harm than good to your health. Not to mention that your cortisol might spike up, which consequently means you will have harder times to lose fat and it might also impact your milk supply.

So you don't want that, do you?

Wondering how to start with exercise?... You'll get the answer soon, so stay tuned ;)
